Applications:
Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate is used as a wood preservative as it is diluted and sprayed on wood surfaces to kill termites, beetles, fungi and algae.
Wood treated with tetrahydrate is not suitable for ground contact and outdoor applications and should be protected with a water repellent coating when used for exterior applications like door, window frames, etc.
