Applications:
Colemanite is used in application where the presence of sodium is undesirable such as non-sodium fibreglass industry, heat resistant lass.
It is used as a low temperature flux. It is used in glaze formulations and in tiles and sanitaryware. It is also used in various industrial and cosmetic applications.
It is widely used in steel furnaces, where it is used to reduce pollution, blow time and acidity.
