Applications:
Liquid bromine is used in manufacturing of organic and inorganic chemicals, such as fuel additives, fire retardants, pesticides, oil well drilling, pharmaceuticals, etc.
In water disinfection, as bleaching agent, surface disinfectant. As a chemical intermediate for ethyl bromide, methyl bromide, ethylene dibromide, other bromine salts.
Intermediate in the manufacture of anaesthetics, antispasmodic agents, refrigerating & dehumidifying agents. In the manufacture of bromine compounds that have chemical and biological activity, high density, and fie retarding and extinguishing properties.
