Applications:
Propylene Oxide is used as chemical intermediate in preparation of polymers to form polyurathanes, in preparation of lubricating oils, surfactants and demulsifiers.
In sterilization of packaged food products in fumigation chambers. In detergent manufacture and as a component in brake fluids. As a fumigant agent.
It is mainly used in production of polyether polyols, propylene glycols.
