Applications:

The major use of Sodium Bicarbonate is in foods as a baking soda. It is used in effervescent salts and is sometimes used medically to correct excess stomach acidity.
Sodium Bicarbonate is used to maintain pH, in event that the pH is high, sodium bicarbonate is used to adjust pH. It is used as a biopesticide for controlling fungal growth.
It is used in fire extinguisher. It is used in BC dry chemical fire extinguishers as an alternative to more corrosive diammonium phosphate in ABC extinguishers.
It is used in making toothpaste and mouthwashes. It is also used as a cattle feed supplement. Used in making personal hygiene products.
